Bonfire Night Blackheath 2014 and Greenwich Park
This weekend was kind of quiet and we just stayed around home. We did go up and see the Bonfire Night Fireworks on Blackheath Common here in Southeast London. James (my partner) and I walked around a little fun fair that appears every year around half term. We then went home and did our yearly tradition for Bonfire Night and had a glorious fondue night. With Halloween the night before and watching some scary movies it was a perfect time for a fondue as well. We love a good cheese fondue but we dont just like having bread with it, we love chopping up veggies like mushrooms, broccoli, ham and James likes carrots. We traditionally watch an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slaying on our fondue nights....bad acting, bad food...seems like the perfect mix. LOL
Sunday rained most of the day but we got out late afternoon and went for a walk through Greenwich Park before we stopped for tea out at a local place. I love the smell of this time of year...the crisp cool air, the leaves, the smell of campire. It was fun to walk through the park and clear our heads. Greenwich Park is my favourite place. I am happiest when I'm close to trees.
Anyway, here's some piccys from the weekend. Hope you guys are well.
