The dinner party
After everyone left for the open house yesterday afternoon, one by one the Scentsy Buddies started arriving at my flat for a little 'after party' dinner party. It was nice to see them again and of course Penny was there as this was all her idea for a little spring soiree with friends. Penny is quite the social pig if you didn't know already. She tells me being social helps build her self-confidence.
First to arrive was 'The Ollie's' who rightfully dressed for dinner.
Then the Lenny's.....with their teenage son, mum who kept having to chase Baby Lenny all night who was oddly fascinated with tomatoes and dad whose taken up meditation to deal with the stress of it all. x
There was Mollie, who brought her little one Mollie....Scratch and her friend Patch, Roarbert whose been trying to kick his milk habit (you can see how well that's going), Pooki who flew in from Antartica and Ribbert whose Roarberts best friend.
As the evening progressed....Patch and Scratch started talking politics whilst Mollie was happy cuddling baby Mollie.
Ribbert enjoyed hearing how Pooki's igloo construction business has been going especially in this down economy whilst treating himself to cookies. Poor Roarbert is on his 3rd glass of milk.
Mr Ollie the Elephant asked his Mrs when she was going to finally take the leap and become a Scentsy consultant. Mrs Ollie says she totally wants to join but just has a lot on her plate and will hopefully join sometimes in the summer when things are less stressful. Mr Lenny the Lamb promised he'd teach Mrs Ollie some meditation techniques that would help her cope better with all she has to deal with.
Baby Penny kind of got a little wild when the cookies and chips came out. Penny just let her play and be the pig that she is.
You can see the big smile on Penny's face. Nothing like spending an evening with friends and family. It was getting late and I was pretty tired from my open house earlier, so I said my goodnights and went to bed. Penny promised she'd clean up and thanked me for allowing her to have some friends over. Penny was still asleep when I woke up today so I let her be. She'll need her rest as she's got so many adventures to look forward to in the future.
till next time........
